I was part of a company they bought, and completely screwed up...and they wondered WHY the industry they bought into, wouldn't just "conform" because they are Google.
Said company has since been sold off, and with it, a product the Borg crafted, which is inherently unstable enough to make Vista look like a success.
The company's existing products were put "in jail" (a Borg term) because they weren't "written" in code the Borg prefers. Said products were summarily sunset, for their "brilliant" new product. The legacy products have stability, in 24/7 applications, approaching YEARS. The finely crafted "replacement" is lucky to run a week without a crash. |
