I could see an upload limit with certain software, such as the php 2 mb limit but not with hardware. The data isnt stored onthe eMTA as it only passes the data along. I will check around but I have uploaded Linux ISO's without a hitch.
EDIT Not able to locate anything from Arris or anyone that can reinforce this claim, sounds like they may have been confused.
