<description><![CDATA[simon726 posted : It's official.<br><br>Shaw has finally given the green light by the CRTC to acquire Mountain Cablevision of Hamilton, Ontario.<br><br>After a short-lived lawsuit by Rogers (that was later quashed) earlier last month - despite the territorial agreement that was set back in 2000, Shaw can finally re-enter itself into Southern Ontario and acquire Mountain.<br><br>This is the first time that Shaw has re-entered back into Ontario. <br>The rest of Hamilton and area is covered by Cogeco.
