VirtualLarry posted : I have a friend that has an XP SP2 computer, that I helped get MagicJack for. He has several accounts on his computer, with "fast user switching" enabled (the default).

He has an Admin account, and his personal account.

Well, when switching accounts, MagicJack initializes again. So if/when he switches accounts, he will have TWO COPIES of MagicJack running in the background. Which really screws things up.

You would think that MJ would fix their software, so that it was able to recognize if it was running on the computer already. But it doesn't.

The workaround that I told him was, if he was going to switch users, to unplug the MJ, switch users, and plug it back in.

Also, he seemed to have trouble with the default Windows Firewall. It was blocking MJ from working properly, so I had him disable the Firewall.

Does anyone know how to get MJ working, in a "limited user" account, with the firewall enabled?
