Re: rip off LOL, man only if you were here in my store to see how many people stop using metroPCS after a month of wasting their money just to switch to boost. Coverage is a downside for metroPCS. |

Yup you mean because of the gaps between the purple "push pins"..... Wyoming, Montana, North and South Dakota get the "no service at all in 4 contiguous states" award.
KEY: Purple Pins = Coverage |

said by hottboiinnc:and with that Most of Ohio is dead space if you zoom in. I think the point here is that their name "metro" is a clever way to say: "Not available if you don't live on an Interstate Highway..." This map actually makes their network look more ubiquitous than it actually is. Last week they had a clearer map that really showed how "geographically specific" their network really is.
EDIT: I just checked my home area. Guess what? No coverage. The Salmon/pink color means future expansion. |

In exchange for the world's longest range cordless phone (not a cellphone), you get much cheaper and better plans. You trade suburban/rural coverage for much cheaper urban coverage. |

True, as long as people understand that. You make a very valid point. |
