A friend sent me this

New MVNO coming out with

a CDMA option which is a Verizon type back bone, on the nation's largest network. One CDMA plan will be $49.95 with talk, text and 50mg of data for $49.99

We will also have a GSM (Sim Card system) option. This is the nation's best GSM coverage. Various plans on this network will be as follows:

$49.99 for unlimited talk and text
$69.99 for unlimited talk and text and 500 mgs of data
$79.99 for unlimited talk and text and 1 gig of data
$89.99 for unlimited talk and text and 5 gigs of data

whats your thoughts?

50mb of data? Most folks with a smartphone will use that in a day or at most a week. Something tells me the overages will be killer. No thanks.

Heard of a dumphone? 99.9% of folks have one, and they won't use 50MB of data on it. They may not even use 10MB of data.

Granted, I have a smartphone and use between 200 and 1500 MB in a month, depending on what I do with the phone. However I, unlike many folks here, realize that I'm the exception rather than the rule.

Limits on data suck. Too hard to try and keep track of how much usage one has done.

Since my Srint plan is theoretically "unlimited", same as I pay if I use 200MB: $30 + taxes + fees + insurance = $42ish per month.

whats your thoughts?
That you signed up here to spam a new MLM from the makers of the largely discredited Zero1 MLM?

Call him Dr. Frankenstein.
Timely though. Your20G was all about Zer01 when it was being debunked, and now mentions Globalmobile1. Pretty funny actually.

According to many, they buy you a $20ish Page Plus Cellular plan, which uses the Verizon Wireless network and keep the extra $20ish for their troubles.

So you're actually buying a Page Plus Cellular service for a $20 premium.
