<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1490985"><b>We No Speak</b></A> : Update:<br><br>I've been using the antenna and amp in many different locations and times throughout the day and night during my recent travels and I'm very happy with it. <br><br>I haven't been testing download speeds but seem to be averaging between 150kbps and 200kbps with the amp and 15kbps without. <br><br>Right now I'm on a Hotel Wireless getting about 11kbps. <br><br>Let me put that another way:<br><br>Without crunching numbers, it feels like I'm on a decent DSL connection with the amp & antenna, while it feels like I'm on a barely better than dial up without them. <br><br>Not bad at all and very worth the price...]]></description>

Since most people download [not upload], it kinda makes sense that upload speeds would be more in line with the unit's capabilities. Also, using the antenna/amp during 'off-peak' hours would seem to support this conclusion, as indicated by the slow upload speeds with the USB unit alone. <br><br>I'm thinking at this point the antenna/amp works very well and tower traffic would seem to be the only limitation to 'my particular' speeds. They have responded immediately to my issues and are conducting themselves with the utmost professionalism. <br><br>We are both scratching our heads at this issue and will be trying different tactics to improve download speeds. <br><br>Also, it should be strongly pointed out that the signal strength of the antenna and amp are clearly superior to the USB unit alone, so the product doesn't appear to be the issue. <br><br>will post back with an update...<br><br>Rick]]></description>
