where is my refund? ACANAC

Here is my experience with Acanac:

I cancled the automatical renewed internet service immediately after I recived the bill from Acanac on Oct. 1st. They charged me one month service fee and told me the rest (around 400 dollars) will be refunded within 10 days. I waited for more than 2 weeks without seeing a penny, so I emailed them on Oct. 20th. One day later they replied that my account have been refunded on Oct. 20th. I waited for another several days but still did not see any trace of my money. Then I contacted them again. This time besides insisting that they have refunded, they said nothing.

So where is my money. Did anyone here has the same experience of having difficulty to get money back. Caould anyone help me. I need that money.

The billing department has already replied to you. They replied to you on the 23rd of October confirming that a refund has already been issued. You were issued a refund on the 20th.

Like charges refunds can take 3-5 business days to reach your credit card. Expect it to show up on your credit card statement any day.

If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

I also had trouble receiving a refund. The same line about it being sent out. Connect to the storefront at Bloor/Lansdowne thru sales. The fellow there was very helpful.

I am sorry, but it's not a line. When a refund is issued it's almost the exact same process happens as when we charge a client. Depending on the the credit card company or even when we close the process for that period it can take a few business days to reach the client.

The client above has already received the funds and the account has been terminated.
