jeffscott : no new HD in Buckhead as well...I'm in zip 30305...I emailed them and received nothing more than the standard reply; steps required, FCC regulations, etc..which basically translates into "we have no intention of offering you the World of More!"...no surprise there...I'm giving them the boot this week.. U-Verse install scheduled for Friday...

sherrsw : No, I still haven't gotten any new channels. Here is a link to an article i found that mentions October after the Tech that came out told me it should be done in October: www.linkyourhouse.com/tech-news/···ion.html It's too painful for me to call them back, so I figure i'd give them another month before trying that.

What I do occasionaly is hook up my tv built in 1991 straight to the wall. Everyone says you should only get channels 2-30 or so after the Digital Transition, but i still get up to about 76 on it so i figure it hasn't happened yet.

Good luck, i'll post if the new channels ever show up. I have a Tivo which downloads the channel list from a 3rd party which makes it worse for me since it says I have all these great channels that don't come in yet :(

apatrick16 : Have you seen the new HD channels show up? I'm in Mableton and they show up if I put my zip code into comcast's website but I currently don't receive the new World of More channels. I called and they said that they could see that my HD/DVR box had corrupt data and sent a reset code and told me that my box would reset itself and download something in 30-45 minutes. They said that it would shut off and I would have to turn it back on but to unplug it for a minute and plug it back in. It never shut itself off or reset in any way that I could tell. I unplugged it the next day and plugged it back in but all it did is forget the guide and took a little bit to download it again. They said that they didn't know why I wasn't getting the new channels.

I read your post about Powder Springs. I'm in zip 30126. I assume that I'm in the same boat as you. After the reset thing didn't give me the new channels, I called back and they said that they would send another reset code and set up an appointment for a tech to come out. Since I don't like to take time off of work to take care of this stuff and I read your post, I told them to forget about the appointment for now. I told them about the 3 phases and south cobb being in the 3rd phase and they said they had no knowledge of anything like that. I asked them if the phases thing was false and they said they didn't know if it was true or not. As far as they new I should be getting the new channels but they said that it wouldn't surprise them if they were rolling it out in phases. I wanted to say to them that it didn't surprise me that they didn't know anything.

Let me know if you have the new channels now or when you get them.

Thanks!

sherrsw : Several months ago I went through the typical "We don't know what's going on crap with Comcast". The end result was that I was told Cobb County was rolling out "World of More" channels in 3 phases and I was in Phase 3 and that would be done in October.

Now that October is nearing an end I just want to know if anyone else in Powder Springs (30127) has gotten any of the new HD channels or if you're still waiting like me. I dread to have November roll around and have to call a Comcast rep again. They really have no clue who should have it and who shouldn't. Last time it took them 6 reps and one tech visit to figure out i shouldn't have the new channels yet. *Sadness*

Thanks
