Verizon FiOS or Time Warner in Queens?

I'm moving from Nassau County to Queens soon, and I wanted to get your opinion on which TV and internet provider I should get. I've been using FiOS for the past couple of years, and everything has been great until the recent DNS issues. Sometimes sites just stop loading all together for about 30 seconds at a time. I'm considering switching to Time Warner and Road Runner, but I don't know anything about Time Warner's reliability and reputation. I'd love to hear some of your experiences with both of these providers in Queens.

I can't imagine for the life of me why anyone would want to switch off FiOS.

Road Runner is inconsistent in certain areas... during prime time you may not receive anything close the to advertised speeds.

Ultimately, go with whats best for.

if youre using the supplied actiontec wireless router, then that would be the cause of your issue with sites not loading up.
