Could be a lot of different things.<br><br>You don't have to do anything to the modem to use it with a router.  You router logs/config would be more useful to help diagnose.  I'd start with the basics....<br><br>Do you have the modem connected to the WAN port on the router?  Are you using a straight-through or crossover cable?  Are you getting a link light on the router's WAN port?  <br><br>Do you have the WAN port on the router configured as a DHCP client?  Not static?<br><br>Are you using a different network addressing scheme for the LAN (DHCP server) vs what WOW's DHCP server is specifying?<br><br> <br><small>--<br>"In a world of compromise, some don't."</small>]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[anon posted : I have WOW cable but I cannot get my router to work with their Webstar DPX 100. The modem works directly connected to pc, but when I connect to router, I can get to router menu but the DHCP settings do not seem to populate, and I know my router works. I have a Linksys WRT54G V8 with latest firmware. <br><br>I also pulled my logs for modem here they are.
