| Google Voice Voicemail Number of Rings Now that you can use GV voice mail instead of your own voice mail (conditional call forwarding), is there a way to reduce the # of GV rings before it picks up?
Right now, it is EIGHT to TEN rings before it picks up GV voice mail. 5 rings from my provider and 4-5 rings from GV.

I'm not sure on this forwarding arrangement if they can recognize it's being forwarded for VM purposes, and thus the VM could pick up right away. I'll bet they do. |

Yup - it uses Call Forwarding so GV will recognize the ANI (your phone) and answer and prompt you. |

| Ah but does that mean that if people call your Google Voice number which you may have forwarded to multiple phones......that it will not ring them and will go directly to voicemail? Sounds like we are caught in a loop here. |
