Wireless connections dropping on all connected computers

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for some assistance in troubleshooting an issue I am experiencing.

Summary -
All connections to my wireless router are dropping at the same time, and I can't find a common issue.

Network setup -

Currently I have a Netgear WNDR3700 fw ver V1.0.4.35NA as my sole wireless router.

Wired connections -
1 PC (I'll call this the media server) connected directly to WNDR3700 Port 1. This PC serves up media to the xboxes, PS3, and Main PC via tversity and folder sharing. This machine is also used to download large quantities of files from the internet.

Wireless Connections -
PS3 - Minimal use - mainly viewing media from tversity stream off of media server
2 Xbox 360s - moderate to heavy use - mainly viewing media from tversity stream off of media server
1 iMac - Moderate use for web browsing (not sure which version of OSX - this is new to the network and the problem occurred before adding this)
1 personal windows laptop - frequent web browsing (my wife's facebook machine) (Vista Ultimate 32 bit)
1 work laptop - intermittent use (Windows 7)
1 Main PC - Heavy Use - internet browsing and viewing media stored on media server via folder sharing (Vista Home Premium 64 bit)
2 iPod Touch - very minimal use

Problem -

The wireless router is dropping the connection to all wireless clients. The only reliable way for me to reproduce this is when transferring a large file from the media server to a laptop or the main PC.

History of problem -

Issue started when I added the Main PC to the network.

Previously, the Media server was also the main PC, and everything ran through the wireless router without any wired connections at all. Had no problems at the time with dropped connections.

Originally experienced this issue on a Linksys WRT54GL with DD-WRT v24.

Added Main PC to network and moved media server to a wired connection.

First noticed problem when moving a large file from the media server to the Main PC.

Tried transferring files with different PCs to reproduce.

Attempted to modify various settings on router, with nothing making a big impact.

Replaced router with Netgear WNDR3700 (wonderful router by the way, much faster proc than linksys, great connection speeds and my xboxes connect without issues on startup)

At this point, I am not sure what to do. Is my network too much load for a consumer level router? How can I stop the wireless connection drops?

Is this possibly related to the addition of a 64 bit OS on the network? If so, how would that make the connections drop for all devices connected to the router wirelessly?

Please help!
