| ZAir G2000 Performance Issiue
Hello ppl, may u can help me. Ive got a performance problem with my ZyAir G-2000 router.
I only get 3.2Mbps download speed. (its rly capped around 400kb/s)
if i connect the modem directly to my pc, i get the full speed of the cable line. (around 25Mbps)
the firmware version is V3.60(HI.4). i searched around a bit here, i found something about duplex mode. my nic is set to 100BaseTXFull Duplex, if i open the g-2000 web interface, its shows 100M/Full.
idk what other settings u may need, but ill add them  thanks for any help... | |

| wee, i managed to solve the problem after nearly 20hours of google research.
it was caused by mac spoofing, as soon as i disabled it at the router, and rebooted my modem, i got my speed ofc i didnt know my isp changed their line, its no longer bound to a single mac adress, but i didnt knew that, so i still had mac spoofing enabled.
3 questions still, 1st, my speed is now around 12mbps, is this the limit for zyair g-2000? the datasheet isnt rly clear about that...
2nd, is there a way to see the current value of the max-connections var, and can someone tell me around what value the max-cons are for g-2000? i ask because, may i can increase that value?
3rd, i dled a "tcp-optimizer", it changed some reg entries. is there a way 2 test if they are ok for the router? (like the mtu size?) i cant see the values for the router, so i hope they are combatible now... | |
