| [Hardware] How to make Speedtouch Modem work with Belkin G Wirel
Hi all, I have a:
1: DSL modem Thomson Speedtouch 516i
2: Belkin Wireless G Router
The DSL modem only has one port to plug in one computer on the back so I bought a Belkin Wireless G router that has FOUR ports on the back and wireless activity.
When a plug in my PC directly into the DSL modem then I have an internet connection
But
when I go from 1: DSL Modem to 2: Wireless G to 3:PC with two cables I have no internet.
So,
How can I connect the wireless G as the "middle man" so that I can have 4 ports and a wireless connection.
All the cables are plugged in correctly so it must be a case of settings.
When I plug directly into the DSL modem I have to type a username and password into my browser in order to access the internet. Is it likely that I have to add a username and password somewhere in the internal settings of the wirelkess G?
