tate886 posted : Hi there Red,

How are you doing, VZW signal wise, these days.

I've been on the phone for at least one hour a day for the last few days with VZw Tech, and even talked with a supervisor several times. They won't switch me back to an older PRL, claiming that they can't go back to older prl's, and/or it would only make my signal situation worse. I don't buy this, but

I'm sick of wasting my time dealing with these people. I've come to the conclusion that, if you live in a rural area, it's useless to call Verizon Tech. They can always throw the excuse of folliage and trees in your face, even when you know that isn't the case.

Thanks for the advice, though. I wish someone would write a llittle utility that would allow someone to pull their prl's off of a USB data card. I'd do it myself if I new the first thing about writing computer programs. LOL! Heck, I'm tempted to try and learn just to give it a shot at this point.

~Ann.

tate886 posted : Hi everyone,

Can someone tell me where I can download the hybrid PRL 65053? I got a new one yesterday from Verizon, and my service has just gone in to the toilet since then. I checked the corolada page, but the latest one there seems to be 65036. Might this be safe to use with my UM175 USB data card?

Also, is it possible to save these PrL files from my data card onto my computer?

Thanks.

~Ann
