Obviously the 700k download is the reason I even started the test.
Connecting to WoW from Socorro, NM to their boston datacenter (12.130.0.174, 12.130.0.170 according to the datacenter info), I'm getting >700 ping, with frequent disconnects during boss battles. I tested the NJ server, due to it's proximity to boston, but the other speedtests come up with similar downspeeds. Is it safe to assume that this is a problem with my ISP, rather than some sort of outage between me and the NE corner of the nation? Do my SNM/LA look ok? What's the best course of action in this scenario? |

| SNM and LA looks good to me and rates in the modem looks cool. try going to »speedtest.qwest.net and do the speed test. do a couple of test to be sure. and if your getting the same results time to call tech support for a possible gateway congestion.

Gateway congestion ftl.
Speedtest from them before gateway switch: 700k
After: 6.2Mbps.
Was on their end, and a simple gateway swap fixed it. |
