| Extreme Qwest latency/low downspeed
Did the following speed test:

Line Quality test: »/linequality/nil/2580104
This is the "information" from my router of our connection speed.
Downstream Upstream Max Allowed Speed (kbps) 7168 896 SN Margin (dB) 12.00 12.00 Line Attenuation (dB) 34.00 18.50 CRC Errors 0 0
Obviously the 700k download is the reason I even started the test. Connecting to WoW from Socorro, NM to their boston datacenter (12.130.0.174, 12.130.0.170 according to the datacenter info), I'm getting >700 ping, with frequent disconnects during boss battles. I tested the NJ server, due to it's proximity to boston, but the other speedtests come up with similar downspeeds. Is it safe to assume that this is a problem with my ISP, rather than some sort of outage between me and the NE corner of the nation? Do my SNM/LA look ok? What's the best course of action in this scenario? |

| SNM and LA looks good to me and rates in the modem looks cool. try going to »speedtest.qwest.net and do the speed test. do a couple of test to be sure. and if your getting the same results time to call tech support for a possible gateway congestion. -- Study hard. Play harder. Girls hardest! |

Was on their end, and a simple gateway swap fixed it. |
