On paper, the iPhone and Droid are equal with the Pre falling behind.

The Droid has a much better screen, a QWERTY keyboard, an expandable memory slot, longer talk time, can run multiple apps, has flash support, and a 5mp camera, but the iPhone has way more apps. Everything else is pretty even between them.

The jury is still out on whether it will be a success though. Putting it in the hands of hundreds of thousands (or millions) of people tends to expose flaws that reviewers don't notice.

That link doesn't, but the screen is 3.7" 480x854 at 240dpi. The iPhone is 3.5" 320x480 at 163dpi.

Here are some tech specs from Motorola themselves:

That 480x854 is hot sex and quite possibly a factor on whether or not I'd want it.

I'd kill for more resolution on the iPhone. I'm young enough still that I can see small things.
