donny619 posted : Before I email AT&T about the unlock (I figure I'm good because this is a business line). Is the ENT firmware what I'm looking for?

Basically, I want more flexibility over 5 static IP addresses. What I mean by that is currently, I can only port forward from my main IP. I can use the other 5 but only through NAT (IPMaps on the router). However, this doesn't allow me to forward, or close any ports from those other 5 IPs.

I'm guessing I need that "IP Filter Sets" functionality? Thanks again for the responses.

daveinpoway posted : If your modem is like the 3346 and 3347 units that I have seen, the ability to use the enterprise firmware is locked out. They say that a key can be purchased which will allow the enterprise firmware to be installed, but I have no idea whether the keys are still being sold and what they cost. You would have to contact Motorola (they now own the Netopia brand).

Before falling in love with the idea of using the enterprise firmware, you should know that this firmware is configurable only through a Command Line Interface- there is no graphical configuration option.
donny619 posted : Has anyone ever tried to upgrade the firmware of the 3347-02 modem with the an 3347W-ENT firmware?
