[DIRECTV] Hauppauge HD PVR

I would love to be able to transfer all my tv series i have that are an HD to my PC. If have the HR20 receiver and i have several external hard drives that are packed with content. Seems like this is the device to do it.

So far i have read great reviews on the device. Wondering if people here at DSLR with D* are using it? Thanks

Are you going to the HR20 or from the HR20. What are "packed drives"?

The Huppaure HD PVR works great for coping from the HR20 to a PC hard drive if the computer "conditions" are to specs.

Packed drives, meaning i have external hard drives that i have filled with shows.

My goal is to go from the HR20 internal drive which is also full and the external drives that i connect to the HR20 and record the shows on to my computer so i can edit and burn to DVD or drop to an external hard drive and connect to my PS3 or WDTV for viewing.

I decided to order it. I just got it today. I will play with it this weekend and give an update.

Thanks
