XBOX Users

With the recent announcements of Netflix for PS3 and Wii, this really negatively impacts Xbox because I know as an Xbox owner, I didn't take advantage of this service because you have to have Xbox Gold subscription. As far as I can tell you only need Netflix account for the PS3 and Wii - so when are they going to open up the service to all Xbox users?

This is what I am thinking too. 90 percent of the reason I got a Gold account was for netflix. Will most likely drop Gold for no-fee Netflix on my PS3.

Same I'm getting sick of microsoft and the 360 with all the DLC crap going on and the fact the accessories are still outrageous. When my gold is up in feb I am thinking about ditching it and investing in another console. Whenever an exclusive game comes out that I want I'll just get a month card instead. I've only needed gold maybe 3 months out of the past year and that was to play left for dead on which I'm getting on PC instead for part 2.

They won't that's not MS way. The money yo gave for the console and the games isn't enough. You're required to get special memberships to play games or get added features. You get half produced games which require you to pony up for an "expansion packs". If you need a wireless connection a wi-fi add-on is $100. For a system that likes to brag about it's online gaming it's curious as to why the make it difficult to actually play online. If you want portable game saves can you save them to a 2 GB USB thumb drive you can get for less than $10 like you can with the PS3? Nope. You have to spend $50 for a 512 MB memory card. If you need more HDD space you have to buy a proprietary HDD from MS which is $150 for 120 GB. For the same price you can simply get a laptop HDD and put that in your PS3. And for $150 you can get one that's at least 320 GB.
