I ordered a Timex Ironman watch on October 26th with 2-day shipping from Amazon that should have been delivered yesterday. When it didn't arrive by today I checked the UPS tracking information and it showed that UPS hadn't even received the package from Amazon yet.
So, I called Amazon expecting to have to fight to get my shipping refunded but lo and behold, not only did they refund the 2 day shipping charge, they re-submitted the order with overnight shipping ... and I didn't even request that, they offered. I was floored. The representative also gave me the choice of a full refund if I didn't want the watch anymore.
Now *THAT* is customer service. I think I'll start buying from Amazon more often, even if I have to pay a little more. |

| Amazon is the first place I go to. I usually find what I need on Amazon for much less than in retail stores (when you factor in tax) and because I am a prime member, I don't pay for 2nd day shipping.

Amazon Prime member here, only real issue I tend to have is with the "Subscribe and Save" reorders not being sent 2 day.
Plus, in the last few weeks if a Prime member orders some thing by the EOD for Thursday shipping. It has been sent as "2 day with delivery by Saturday". Most of the time that equals Friday.
Plus the Citi Forward card considers anything purchased from Amazon as a "bookstore" so their is a bonus on the Thankyou points from that program. |

I agree - I've never had an issue with Amazon shipping. All my orders arrived either on time or slightly ahead of schedule...even on the "free shipping" offers (which they tout as taking 5 - 7 days).
