I know this game has been out a year, but I just bought it from the for sale forum here. Man this game is spectacular. I am only on Chapter 2, but this is awesome!! Just wanted to share.

| When I saw the previews and saw how scary it looked, it turned me away. I usually don't like scary games. F.E.A.R did that to me and I stopped playing Doom 3 due to it. I thought what the heck. Now it has got my heart pumping a few times, but it's tolerable.

I loved that game for all of a week, it was a great game no doubt about that. But after I got my 1000/1000 I quickly realized there was no replayability to it.

This is a GREAT game! I have replayed it a couple of times. It is worth at least one replay since you get to keep all of your weapons and upgrades... which makes you just dominate every enemy in the game.

Reuters says that Dead Space 2 will be out in 2010. According to the piece, "'Dead Space 2' is in development for next year." See you next year!

Dead Space was one of the best games I purchased. The storyline is fantastic. The game was easily worth the $50 I paid for. I played through it 3 times. I have the urge to play through it one more time on impossible, but I haven't decided yet. Enjoying Batman Arkaham Asylum.
This game is easily worth the money that Steam wants for it which is $20 or so.

I can see myself playing it through once. I rarely replay a game unless it's for it's multiplayer game ie. COD and Halo.

I loved it also and can't wait for the sequel. There is also a movie coming out for it, check out this month's Game Informer for the big name directors who are making video game movies like; Bioshock, Mass Effect, Dead Space, Infamous, Prince of Persia and more. |

Definitely a great game. Worth at least 2 play throughs, so you can do the hardest difficulty  .
Also, don't forget the movie Dead Space: Downfall. Good to watch if you're interested in the story.
