| Speed Test for Fiber Inaccurate
I have come to the conclusion that the speed test for those of us who use fiber (just had A&T Uverse installed yesterday) don't work well. The tests are not accurate at all. I finally went over on one of the DSL/cable ones and it showed my speed where it should be. We have the 12 MB down service. On the fiber test, it was showing anywhere from 2100 to 5800 down.

Erial, NJ | Technically, you probably don't have fiber. In most cases, U-Verse runs fiber somewhere close to you, and then bonded copper pairs from there to the premises using V-DSL. |

| You are right, Joe, now that you mention it. I was told something about copper. Which speed test should I use then?
