So I call and ask to speak with a supervisor. Agent that picks up (Genus) claims that he is a supervisor. Same guy I spoke with when I called about the second mistake. I asked if he was sure he was a supervisor because I filed a complaint with BBB and that I am sure they will be following up with me. If he is claiming to be a supervisor when he is not it will only add more fuel to the fire. Well he got defensive on me. I only mention this because it is common for many customer service reps to claim they are supervisors when you ask for one. They don’t want to escalate. Well it turns out that the wrong tracking number was sent to me.

I mentioned that I had sent in a few e-mails about these issues and never received a response. Well it looks like he is more upset at me for voicing my concerns than I should be over the mistakes. He said he did not feel a need to respond given we had talked over the phone already. What an idiot. So he ignored my e-mails completely. Not even an acknowledgement or receipt. Again, his tone was defensive throughout the call. In the end he told me that if I did not like it to go with someone else. Thank you Capatain Obvious. I won’t be ordering with them again and will be sure to share my bad experience with others. You would think in this economy and given that paintball is a luxury sport, they would try to keep their customers happy. I am not even asking for anything other than they stop making these mistakes. Not a single apology. If he is a supervisor, he greatly needs to work on his people skills and technique in dealing with “difficult” or “irate” customers. I was not one BTW. I would have never taken such a tone. I never do when I have to deal with escalated calls. Some people do not belong in customer service.

I will be visiting the consumerists shortly.

You go and order more stuff from the same company that gave you trouble before and now you pissed again and you are calling them idiots. I would have not done any more business after the first one. Since it a luxury sport they still will get the orders. I don't think you can go around the corner and buy it there. You can to BBB and resellers all you want not to many people reads the list. I do not put any trust in them because to many people files false complaints.

When it rains it pours. I got the barrel I ordered on Sunday and it is damaged. Has a few nics on both ends of the barrels. Looks like I wont have either the replacement barrel or the new barrel I purchased for my game on Saturday.

Yes, I will never order stuff from them again. As I mentioned, I only ordered this last time out of desperation. I tried to find the stuff at stores and could not find it. I know other sites have it. I just need to order with enough time to receive them in the future.

Yeah looking for another place currently. Need to get a harness for a new tank I purchased. Through them too. That was going to be my next purchase before things went sour.
I'm surprised you can't find something locally for around the same cost as on the net. I've been out of the area for a while but there seemed to be plenty of shops when I was there.

I guess I did not research them enough. I found out that forums are riddled with negative posts about them. Many mention it is run by a bunch of "little kids" that dont care. Some even suggested going down to their local shop and squaring things out there. I think I will just do a charge back. The last order I placed with a platinum credit card. I think that has a few protections.

Well I called them this morning to check on the status of my replacement. Although they had it since Monday, they had not done nothing with it. I very politely asked that they send it out asap.

I also mentioned the issue with the defective barrel. Well, he said that they could not do anything and to refer to the manufacturer. He then promptly followed up that it is in the terms and conditions. He then added that is another thing I can add to the BBB complaint. I was very calm throughout the call but it sounded like he wanted to pick a fight.

Well I will deal with the manufacturer now and await for the replacement barrel. Before I hung up, he let me know I would get an answer to my BBB complaint. Not in a helpful manner but more like in a we will show you manner.

Called Lapco, great service. They let me know the two spots on the barrel are actually normal and not to worry about them. They are the contact points and of when they make them. Good to hear. Well at least that is out of the way.

They must have some real asswipes working at this place. When I called yesterday I asked when my replacement barrel would be sent. They guy told me yesterday or today the latest. Well I may have set myself up for this one as I told him I have a game and need it by Saturday. I am sure out of spite the dude did not do anything.

I just finished chatting with them and they said they would send it tomorrow. What a bunch of assholes. I bet they did it on purpose too. I dont see why it did not ship out already when they had it since Monday. The guy yesterday tells me it would ship out today and now the guy in chat says until tomorrow.
