reply to hottboiinnc my rate can't go up for 1 year because of the contract lock in. after the one year, i'll threaten to jump ship to another provider. fios may even be available at that time and i'll jump on whatever promotions they are having. with that said, for me, directv's picture quality and hardware is way better than cablevision. so even if i had to pay a few bucks more i wouldn't be as angry knowing what i was paying cablevision.
