Re: Not available to me That price means nothing. a 600k townhouse could be cheap compaired to a 3 million dollar mansion.
The fact that you live in a townhome is why you dont have it. I live in a two floor appartment and verizon wont give me fios either. nevermind the fact that my wall is an exterior one that is 20 feet from a fios fiber junction box. |

Except that the $300k condos across the road from me do have Fios. |

To boot the 300,000 dollar one will probably order more services. |

It had to do with street boundaries. |

No cherry picking in this neck of the woods. |

EDIT: Simplified diagram:

Well according to your diagram you should have FiOS, but for some reason you don't. It looks like you have Verizon DSL, so maybe you have new Copper there. If so it was a financial decision not to bring in FiOS. You could also have a Community that is feed differently, and was put on the back burner for later deployment. So if you want FiOS, the Community has to get together and ask Verizon what up. |

Talk to your HOA Board or management company - they should have a reason why they haven't let Verizon into your development.

 | reply to Bobcat My question to you would be..... do you have a homeowners association? Reason I ask is because the association has to actively pursue verizon and ask them to install it. Our condos has fios all around us for 2 years. Finally somebody in the association got in touch with verizon and now we have fios.

 | Yes, and they don't care. |

 | reply to Z80 I think alot of deployment went into areas with high repeat trouble tickets in the cooper network. That's why Quail Valley's trailer area got fiber in, to reduce the trouble tickets. IMO.
As for the TV, I think they wanted a small market area in case the system crashed or didn't fly.
Just my guess. |
