the lease time is 60 seconds, but when i connect my dsl modem to my computer directly its a much longer time. what can i do to make sure i have a more accurate lease time in my router? |

join:2000-12-13 Rochester, MA | OK, so it's the lease being assigned by your ISP. It's odd that it would be different. Perhaps try cloning the MAC address of your PC to the router and see if that changes your lease time. |

By the way are you using PPPoE to connect? |
