<description><![CDATA[Keizer posted : I do believe I have discovered a simple work around for the automatic maintenance issue. If you want to keep the nice green check mark under "Maintain system" but don't want automatic maintenance to run, then do this.<br><br>Set up the automatic maintenance schedule for any time you like. See screeny!  Then, go into Windows task scheduler, and simply disable the scheduled task. Even after doing this, the green check mark remains in Tuneup. I even tried it out, and no automatic maintenance was run at the scheduled time. But, tuneup likes to warn you in a few places that it's on manual, and should be set to automatic.<br><br>EDIT: Wow, I really need to get SnagIt installed.  This Win 7 snipping tool sucks. I'm like HEY STOP THAT!!<br><br>Tuneup 2010 seems more laid back in this regard. After installing it, I went right in and set the automatic maintenance for 2:15 AM. I also took the check mark out of "Enforce maintenance one week after this period if the computer was not idle long enough". I will most likely never have my PC on at 2:15 in the morning, so 1 click should never happen.<br><br>If you turn off automatic maintenance, then you don't get the nice feel good green check mark under Maintain system.......and that kinda bugs me. ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[kw posted : I've been using TUU for awhile but never purchased it...got around to doing so finally after the hype you all have generated here...<br><br>and I must say...I'm disappointed. The layout is much worse. I also don't like the fact that it's going around and changing the priority of certain processes without asking me. Is there a way to turn off the "Live Optimization" stuff?  ]]></description>

It found 249 issues in my new Windows 7 Ultimate install, which are all gone now! Gotta love TuneUp! ;-)<br>Still my favorite registry cleaner... It found 249 issues in my new Windows 7 Ultimate install, which are all gone now! Gotta love TuneUp! ;-)<br>Still my favorite registry cleaner...
