Run Two Speed Tests from the two DIFFERENT cities nearest to you that are listed here: Speakeasy POPs
Also, test here »ftp://ftp1.optonline.net/test512
Note your transfer rate after about 30 seconds. Then cancel the download.
Post the URL for the New Tweak Test. For the TWO Speakeasy Tests, Copy and Paste the speed results from those tests and note the speed from the FTP download test. -- "You can observe a lot by watching". Yogi Berra |

I tried two times to run »»ftp://ftp1.optonline.net/test512 but get this error; C:\Documents and Settings\mom\Desktop\downloaded junk\test512.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.
Try again later, or contact the server administrator.
I tried to access my modem/router using »»ftp://ftp1.optonline.net/test512 but failed.
Thanks for the time and help. Happy Halloween! Go Pack go! MAJ |

| reply to maj742 That's OK; I was just getting ahead in case we need the MODEM/router stuff.
There is nothing left in that line, so ....
Thats about as good as it gets. It isnt going to get much better than that. Put a fork in it youre done.
