I hear you, but we're kind of pinned down at the moment.

We landed a chopper at Rosecrans Memorial Airport in St. Joseph. They were all around the fences. We ran quickly to the terminal, and got ourselves holed up near the baggage claim. We think we have a way out, and our chief specialist Archivis is prepared to lead the charge.

I think how the game works will be clear after the first day/night cycle... so right now you have to decide if you are going to investigate the first city before moving on... the decision will need to be made on Monday.

I for one will investigate, I think we will need supplies and stuff early on. Once I have a little supply of useful stuff, I might skip investigations for safety.

@Archivis, it would be great to meet up with you guys... as shelter specialist I imagine you have a greater chance of surviving nights due to your hiding (like little scared rabbits) abilities.

I got all excited and made up a location without realizing we had a starting location already picked in the opening post. We're in Las Cruces, NM, and I agree that meeting up with you should be our priority 1. When Day starts on Monday, we'll plan on rendezvousing with you. Not sure where or when yet, but linking up will greatly increase your chance of survival, methinks. I also think you'll bring valuable skills to the team. I don't know how good we'll be at exploring a city and eradicating the zombie threat looking for supplies. Holing up, experts....fighting with zombies....probably not so good.
