Does anyone know if you can still use the iPhone after having it shut off? I'm sick of paying the mobile data fee, but would still like to use it as iPod, calendar, wifi stuff. I appreciate any info.
I believe you can use it as an Ipod and the wifi will work. The phone will be crippled once the Sim is de-authorized.
I guess pulling the sim card out now will answer that question?
As another poster correctly noted, it then becomes an ipod touch which is really an iphone with no phone.
