anon posted : Thank's for the info CableJack. I was thinking that also about channels 97, 950 & 951 being analog with the Cisco RNG 200 being an "All Digital Tuner" but channel 715 (BTN) is still Black. Is anyone else having problems channel 715 on comcast of Garden State using a HD-DVR box?

anon posted : @pjsbar The Cisco RNG-200 along with the other Cisco RNG boxes only have digital tuners in them. So the analog channels that are mapped to channels 98, 950, and 951 will only ever have a black screen on them.
I would recommend to have you check with your neighbors who subscribe to Digital Classic with contains BTN to see if it's working at their house or not since that tech seemed totally useless to you today.

Pullo posted : Here you need to have Digital Classic (Preferred)to get BTN. I can't speak for your area but here BTN is NOT part of the Sports and Entertainment package. If you are subscribed to the right package (and you should be to get the overflow channels)it's odd to have a problem with just one channel.Ask for a new box.

anon posted : Just an update-The Tech came this morning and did absolute "Nothing". He was on the phone with a few people from comcast and then he was telling me that the BTN is not part of the sports package it's like HBO - separate package which is hard to believe. He did notice that channels 711 thru 714 were coming through but only showing the BTN Logo. Then he say's to me it should come back in an hour. It's almost 4:00PM and channel 715 is still "Black".
