Send them back to Poly. They know they are bad. Ever since they moved MFG to Mexico instead of Arizona, USA they have been having serious issues.

The ground bars are decent size. Both inside and outside are about the same size, as is the TGB.

What you don't see is the rest of the grounding, the internal halo, all metal inside such as hvac ducts, electrical panels, transfer switch, door, racks, ladders, etc.

We ended up throwing them in the bin, too annoyed to do anything else with them. We went through 2-3 of them.

Yeah we have some pretty fancy grounding installed at our sites too/

We use some copper strip about 20x3mm or so and create a ring around the tower and hut, then each tower leg is linked with the same strip to that ring. An external and internal grouding bar are then also linked into the ring.

At 3-4 points (I cant remember how many we do) we drive copper rods into the ground several meters (depth depends on the soil). At some sites weve had to drive them in 12 metres to achieve adequate results.

Then, we also ground the fence to the ring aswell.

Its one pretty crazy setup of grounding, but all necessary.

Sites are fully operational now, a day ahead of schedule. I just completed the install of the PTP600 yesterday night and got the pseudowire mux configured and running. The site routers are connected to the master location and the equipment at each site is operating correctly.

Not very descriptive am I?

I need to get some photos of the PTP installation, it has very extensive grounding, plus an interesting bonding technique that I thought up. It meets and exceeds Motorola standards for install.
