Re: Scary VoIP stuff for Halloween By the way, howieh, it is a whole bunch of people from various parts of the country. Here are some posts from recent days and weeks. Where a person posted more than once, I tried to use their most recent update:
--------------------------------
WOZZ4422: My houshold and signature number dont ring and also there isnt even a dialtone. When you go into the user portal on the web page it keeps saying there is a error and doesnt display any information.
--------------------------------
Cableguy1820: My phone started working again the website is working again too (but) now there are no voicemail accounts set up anymore and also all of the numbers i had in my block list are gone. but at least the phone is operational.
--------------------------------
Radioactive: My outgoing is working. TB gave me a temp (incoming) number which I distributed to my close people to call me at home. So right now , Only problem I have is all my other contacts (accounts, colegues, others) do not have the new number. I am waiting for TB to fix it or else , I may have to proceed legally to claim my damage for loosing the number. I already filed with FCC.
--------------------------------
DU: Same here. No incoming, no outgoing, no dial tone since yesterday. The "news" section on their web site is suddenly empty. Yesterday when I tried to login, it was giving errors, today it just says "your account has been closed". Payment site allows me to login and is functional. Hope its not Sunrocket all over again suddenly. Calling their toll-free went straight to some extension's voice mail. Left a message anyway.
--------------------------------
Lekhak: BTW Teleblend service has been deteriorating lately. I opened a billing ticket 2 months ago, and its still not resolved. They just closed it the last time I checked. I reopened another ticket. Still waiting on a response. And when I call them, just reach a CSRs voicemail, who never call back.
--------------------------------
NotHappy: I am not getting incoming calls on my Teleblend phone since Sept 24th. (Posted October 3). I am able to make outbound calls. Called Customer service, opened Ticket. There is no response to either of these. Called Customer service again waited for 1/2 hour to get through and he informs that they are having issues with their providers and that it is a known issue and he has no idea when that might be resolved.
--------------------------------
Bsoper: I'm out too (Indiana). Have been for a few days now. For the most part, I have been OK with TB, but I guess I just don't want to do it anymore. I was with SunRocket first, like a lot that are left, so I tried as long as I could. I left my number (Not my TB number) for them to call me back for the cancel.
--------------------------------
GRrome: I too have not been getting any incoming calls. My issue has been running a couple of days longer than NotHappy's. It took a couple of days to realize that no calls were getting through and were getting dumped into my voicemail. At first I thought my answering machine was turned off, but I checked it and it was on. I then called my Teleblend number using my cell and the call went directly to VM.
I opened a trouble ticket that included my cell number and in a couple of days they replied with an e-mail stating that their system isn't seeing my VoiP adapter and if I could provide them with its MAC address. Fortuitously I was online when I received the e-mail and responded within a 1/2 hour.
Then nothing. I waited for almost a week before I finally called in and the support person I spoke with had me try a few things to no avail. They said that someone from their Engineering would contact me shortly to help resolve this issue. I typically understand the term "shortly" to mean a couple of days, but it's been a week with nary a word.
--------------------------------
So, respectfully, howieh, I don't think that this is the best of all possible worlds. |
