8.5 - do you have edge or is this the regular (6M) tier?
I'm hoping to get some DOCSIS 3 news in the q3 conference call.
In Augusta, Comcast rolled out DOCSIS 3 in September. I haven't heard anything about Knology following their lead. |

yes edge whatever....upload to my game server at 768 is agonizing... But better than mediacom..I would'nt go with them for anything... |

On the 3rd quarter conference this morning, speeds were mentioned for DOCSIS 3.0.
They were 12-15 Mbps, 20-25 Mbps for The Edge, and possibly a 50 Mbps option. |

Ok I said I wouldn't go with Mediacom..Well Crow tastes pretty good. Got the 20 meg service and it fricking flys. Knology would not fix my intermittent connection problems. Said "It has to be on the fritz when we come out here." I said when I call the tech on the phone says there is no signal. Anyway they lasted two weeks. I told them performance based business relationship.
Mediacom is doing well for me at the moment. On weekends it slows to 12-15 but then picks up.They said keep calling in and they will upgrade in my area if they need to. Whatever.. Still faster than the edge. If Knology just would have looked at my problem. I would like 50 meg just to have the maybe 5 upstream. |
