| ODST: Multiplayer, what's the draw?
First, this is not a flame, I'm genuinely curious.
I did quite a bit of Halo 3 multiplayer, but as I've been playing ODST over the last few days, I've had zero desire to multiplayer. The single player so far is great, but there is nothing that I can see is new enough to interest me in the multiplayer aspect.
So for those of you who are die-hard multiplayers, what is it about ODST that has you excited? Are you just excited for the new maps? |

| For me it's the scoring system so my friends and I can see who's better, the guy who always kills the wraiths is automatically taken out from the running since the point bonus is absurdly large. Beyond that I've cooled down on the multiplayer since it can get old fast. -- One time a person asked where the F button was on their keyboard. I told them they would find it next to the U button. |

| reply to Matt The difference is what type of multiplayer game do you want? Halo 3 has cooperative story mode, which after beating once or twice doesn't have much replayability. Halo3's main multiplayer mode, and the only one with replayability is it's adversarial multiplayer. Many people like myself don't like playing adversarial multiplayer, we want to play cooperative. ODST actually has cooperative multiplayer that has replayability to it, so it's much better for people like me. In the end what it comes down to is do you want to play against other people (Halo3) or play with other people against the computer (ODST)? |

The game had the perfect setup for a large number of small storylines too, I dont know why they cheaped out on us. --
