Ubuntu 9.10 new install as of yesterday-on my ps3. Previously had 7.04 for running emulators. Was time to update, especially since 9.10 is much more graceful about handling wifi. |

My "SERVER" used as a file server, ssh, and proxy tunnel. Also use it occasionally as a backup workstation. Currently running kubuntu, but have plans to switch to fedora on release 12. Running KDE 4.3.3!! |

I got sick of the general setup of the Pentium 3 with XFCE I posted before. So I switched it to a GNOME environment with e16 window manager today =) Runs awesome on the setup shown here. |

The panel color is part of the desktop themes. Should be desktop under system settings.
Edit: Checked it for you. It's in the advanced tab in system settings under desktop theme details. Seems they moved it a bit with this version of KDE, but it also looks more flexible. |
