anon posted : Wooha!
That worked instantly. Thanks a lot!
I'm planning to put the device into a customers network, and have it vpn my linux router at home to give me access to a separate network containing a bunch of PLC's for their production line, which i need to manage remotely. Without them letting me have an extra dsl line, and of course they wont open ports for me either. Now i can get started on the vpn setup.
Thanks a lot!

Graycode posted : Is there anything in the log about that, maybe from the firewall? For example if your default "WAN to WAN/ZyWALL" firewall rule set to Block then you may have to allow the "BOOTP_CLIENT(UDP:68)" to be forwarded.

anon posted : Hi, I'm a bit stuck with my zywall 10. I've set it up as a nat router/dhcp server, and set the wan part to be dhcp client. Everything works, except the wan port on the zywall does not get a dhcp address (from the linux router i've plugged it into, and which is working flawlessly). If i set a static wan ip, i can ping it from the lan side so the nat is obviously ok. Link light are on both on the wan and the switch and hub i tried it on. What is wrong/am i doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.
Sven.
