| slow VPN or https over one-way (skyfx) ?
Now that I am getting an OK download rate (350-450K) I noticed that https sites (ebay, amazon,...) appear to be extra slow - to the point they usually time out.
Also a VPN connect to my work was very slow (a 5M download took 50 minutes).
I am also working with skyfx on it but was curious if others have noticed this or dealt with it before. On the VPN issue they recommended I ask my work for help - but it used to work fine on starconnect I think. |

Did you uninstall the Starconnct VPN from your program files. Also remove your b2c2 broadband connection if you have one.
I had a USB modem from Technisat and the F20 that I got wouldn't give me pages until I uninstalled those programs. I had Allen and Donny on line for about an hour, but I haven't had a problem with any secure sites at all since they fixed it.
I'm not a brain on this stuff, but those guys will make it work even if they have to move in to do it. They're awesome. |
