There seems to be three adapter settings from the pull down. I have only one NIC card.
The settings say:
1)Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast ethernet NIC#2
2)Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast ethernet NIC
3)Microsoft TV/Video connection
Data download really hauls... but simple web pages take 20-60 seconds to complete.
Example when going to Yahoo, the status messages say...
a) Looking up www.Yahoo.com (duration 30 sec)
b) Transferring data (duration 20 seconds)
c) page appears (hour glass does not stop until 10 seconds after) |
