I think the PC players would have an advantage over the console players though. It may just be me, but I play much better with a mouse and keyboard than I do with a controller type input device.
Don't get me wrong, I'm older and my response times aren't what they used to be. (read: yeah I know I suck.) I still feel the over all game play is easier to manage with a PC though. |

Just got home and haven't opened it yet. Arrived at Gamestop at about 11 and the line was over two blocks long. Some people were there in lawn chairs and said they had been there all day. Some were even dressed up in ghillie suits. Police were driving back and forth near the line. I never expected anything like that for a game and would have gotten there much sooner if I had known. A few people mentioned that the crowds were just as bad at a few of the other nearby Gamestop stores. I hope it lives up to all the hype.

Question... I have completed the solo missions (only took 5 hours this time) and still only show a completion rate of 50%. I did not pick up any of the intel items as I do those all at one time. Do you figure that is the reason for the completion ratio?
The Airport scene wasn't all that big of a deal, but you are prompted at the beginning of the game about a mission that is objectionable and you can skip it if you wish with no harm to game play.

I didn't expect them to be anymore than a novelty display item and they do feel cheap, yet they work better than I had expected. It takes 5 AA batteries and a Phillips screwdriver, and you almost need a masters degree in engineering to even get them out of the packaging. They just barely fit but I have a big head. You can see in black and white or green. There is a long range mode, which is better to see with but the little lights faintly glow red and stealth mode, which doesn't emit any visible light but you can't see as far. I expected noise but things look fairly clear and it may be my imagination but if you turn your head quickly, things looked slightly out of focus until you sit still again for a moment. I only tried them for a few minutes in complete darkness and outside for a few minutes where there was some light already. Unless I use them for some night time catfishing during the summer, I doubt they will ever come off the display stand.
Haven't played too much of the game yet, but so far it's good. Very fast paced and intense. It seems a little more difficult than I remember the first Modern Warfare being.

The completion rate counts by the percentage of the campaign done on each difficulty, with recruit & normal difficult clumped together. Complete it on another difficulty and it'll go to 75%, then again to 100%.
