[ Equipment] Sharing Verizon EVDO between two laptops Reply

Hi, i am new to mobile Internet.
I thinking to purchase wi-fi router tomorrow, but i plan to subscribe to EVDO intenret soon.

And i got Verizon USB EVDO modem - UM150 what options will i have to connect second laptop to Internet trough it, e.g. can i use shared networking (NAT) or i need some special hardware (router) for that?
Thx a lot.

P.S. I am not sure how Verizon blocks you from sharing connection?

Easiest Solution is a Cradlepoint Router from WWW.Wirelessnwifi.com. They have great prices and excellent support.

ICS works fine if you never move the laptops, and they only connect to each other. If you take them elsewhere and connect otherwise regularly, redoing the ad hoc settings each time will make you crazy fast.

The entry level Cradlpoint is not quite in that price range yet, but it is well under $100. See '»www.wirelessnwifi.com/Cradlepoint-CTR350'

Good luck
