Re: Legend of the Seeker, eason 2

Good stuff! I enjoy this series. I had a chance over the summer to read the first 4 books. A very awesome series that I found hard to put down once I started.

Thanks for the heads up!

I never read any of the books, reading anything makes me sleepy.... but I certainly enjoyed the series.

Re: Legend of the Seeker, Season 2

will boobies continue to defy the laws of gravity
in D'Hara now that Darken Rahl lives no more?

I can't believe they are doing more of this stuff,
I thought last season's Xena/Hercules wannabee
was more than enough for this decade to swallow.

Charisma
Charisma Carpenter was on this first episode as a Mord Sith.

the new story line is comparable to the first season.

let's hope viewers who missed all that commentary will
be able to follow the story for the rest of the season.

the season opener could have used more cleavage

the season opener could have used more cleavage
and the kiss was about as un-sexy as it could have been, and certainly didn`t deserve an IMDB reference to TV Guide Breaking News as Legend of the Seeker Stars Explain Charisma Carpenter's Female Kiss.

I only watched a few Season 1 episodes (recently), but Season 2 seems to be off to a good start.

I liked Charisma Carpenter in the shows I've seen her in previously, but I thought she was wasted in this episode of The Seeker. I like the idea of the Mord Sith chick joining the Seeker on his quest to find the Stone of whatchamacallit, unless it turns into a soap opera between the two of them and the Confessor. Then I'm gonna stop watching.

Overall, a pretty good episode. I hope they can get some good good guys vs. evil creatures from the underworld type stuff going on in the second season.

Stupid imdb raising my interest in the season opener.

Also, that mord sith outfit just didnt look good on Charisma.

I think she woulda looked better in an outfit like Bridget Regan's which would've allowed her cleavage to breathe.

I agree. Her cleavage is too pretty to cover up like they did.

I don't like the fact the series fails to follow he books. That said...
I wouldn't mind seeing more Mord Sith bathing....

I do think this show has a decent production value, when compared to shows that are on other networks. Be nice to see other networks pick up the series as well [Like Xena, Hercules], giving it a chance at a larger audience.

I wish they's let Richard use some subtractive magic.

you know how the sword of truth glows red around really bad guys - perhaps the sword weakens them to help Richard triumph, they just don't bother writing about it in the script.

so far this season is a lot better than the last one. The effects and writing seem better. The acting of guest rolls needs to improve a lot though.

excellent episode - wove in a lot of background info and
helps the viewer better accept having that Sith along,
and better cooperation from that rune marked thief.
I'm just surprised commoners don't treat the Seeker
with more respect.

Still have my issues with the show but season 2 is looking better.

Anyone else find Cara to be such a better character than Khalan?
