raytaylor posted : ACK in the AP should be 10% more than your most distant client.

ACK in the CPE should be set to static - since it doesnt move - and i usually make it also 10% more than the distance back to the AP.

If you were to turn the AP's ACK down, you would have dropped packets for your more distant clients.

rb384997 posted : I'm using the PS2-ext as an AP. What are the recommended settings for

the Advanced Wireless Options such as ACK, Typically we don't install anyone over 5 miles,
most customers (90%) are within 3 miles.

The manual suggests 10% more that the furthest customer and not to use Auto ACK.

So is Auto off and 105 good for the AP?

What should the CPE be set to?
Auto or calculate actual millage to AP and set accordingly?

I know that tranzeo radios are different and ack is set to zero in this type of application (at least it works well with my tranzeo cells)
