Doesn't bother me one way or the other. I don't use CV's crappy DVR service because of bonehead moves like this. Tivo handles this splendidly. I agree, you should be able to customize your channel listings as it is pointless to scroll things pages of crap you don't get..

The truth is CV considers full guide listings as marketing material, meant to entice you to call up and order packages you do not subscribe to. Its the reason why customization of the guide was pulled on the Sony boxes, and the reason why you can't customize the guide on the SA box as well. The more we "advance" or "change for the better" the less options we are given. I hate it but we're screwed no matter what.

Only thing to do is call the call center and complain that you want the option back. It wont do anything but you might feel better.
