No more problems after that.<br><br>Go to the Scheduler tab, click the Blue "add task" button on the upper left,  select "launch program" down arrow, select "stop all downloads",  click the "Start time" tab, set the FapFree end time, and then select to run "Every 1 days".<br><br>That should do it for you. But the "get out of jail" token I fear could be exploited unless there's a limit as to how often you can purchase and use a token during the month. . .<br><br>I don't mean to come across as a naysayer, I just want to be able to use the system like I once could, evening usage lately has been next to useless. . . ]]></description>

There is no obligation to redeem or purchase a Restore Token." If you call in they will release the speed restrictions without using or purchasing tokens. <description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1669791"><b>FAPman</b></A> : Well if your running a network with multiple computers the program would have to be built into the modem otherwise it would just be for one computer, not accurate and useless.<br><br>Second they would have to release their proprietary info "recovery", showing that you can actually use more than the DTL within a rolling 24 hours. Just saying that more people would recognize the extra bandwidth with a real time meter and use it which is something they dont want.<br><br>With a real time meter with numbers, they would have to change their bandwidth policies to limit the DTL to exactly the DTL within a rolling 24 hours. Which would mean even less bandwidth for us and a total overhaul on the NOC just for a real time meter that follows their current policies. Not only those problems but comms from the noc to the modem count for the DTL so that would have to be figured in. The meter would need to have direct contact with the NOC using even more of the DTL. My whole point is that whatever way you look at it the meter will still not be 100% accurate, if they even release one. <br><br>I'm guessing that they will just get rid of recovery and put a stricter DTL within a 19 hour block in between free zones and just forget about this felonious rolling 24 hour business.]]></description>

But then the thing wouldn't show up in the System tray even though the process was running; just no user interface. After a reboot it seems to be running just fine.<br><br>Is it just me or does the icon look like a blindfolded, sad smiley face..]]></description>

Not about the self FAP reset (seems unlikely), but about a better usage tool.<br><br>There really isn't any technical reason why they couldn't make it real-time tool, so let's hope for the best. At the very least any HN tool should help us nail down the specifics about the bucket, refill, etc.  ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1686246"><b>moag</b></A> : i just got off the phone with "Martin" in India to reset my fap (^&*# adobe updater) and he told me that hughes was testing a new tool to track usage... he said it would be updated hourly (currently ~2 hrs on my 7000s) and give users the ability to reset fap without calling india and running through the whole "go to 192.160... blah blah" process. anyone out there know anything about this, or, even better, have a link ? i spent 20 minutes begging for more info, but he wouldnt give much up. <br><br>i hope it is true, this is the type of official tool that hughes should have had available, oh, say the day they started selling limited internet access. i know about hnfapmon and greasemonkey scripts, but "Martin" told me that this would be an official usage info tool. hopefully it is a bit more useful than the other official hughesnet "tools"]]></description>
