| wake up from your slumber. have you ever seen a 'new' telecommunications company come in a decimate the competition with low pricing? no, you haven't. and do you know why that is? because that's the game that all telecommunications companies play. they are all in cahoots with each other. they all know each other. its a big club of telecom giants. companies enjoy profits. if A and B companies offer services at X amount, the 'new' guy will offer the same services for that same amount. sure there will be certain perks to the 'new' guy's plan, but its all the same gift in different packaging. -- I've come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass and i'm all outta bubblegum. |

Microcell with their Fido brand did ! Who can forget the 40$ CityFido plan ?! Or how about the 60$ UNLIMITED (really, with NO CAPS) data plan ? There are still some Fido clients that cling on to it..
Aaaah the good old days of REAL competition in Canada... Hope that Wind will eventually bring some of that love back.

 | reply to tiger72 I also don't believe the order stopped Wind from restructuring to try and comply with the ruling (e.g. divesting some additional Orascom interest). |
