Re: Suffering with 60 sec page loads • Is there is filter on the TV? Yes, I have seen RFI causing problems. One guy has his MODEM stacked on hos box right over the power supply. My guess is that the TV is bleeding off RFI from the TV connection into your power system. You can try a power surge/RFI strip from the TV to the plug in the wall.

 ejg1 join:2004-12-01 Pacifica, CA | Iam already using a surge protector as shown here. Also...and this realy gets me, the TV is located 10 paces away through a wall. So my theory is that either the air waves are inteferring or the sucking of electricity away from the modem is the problem.

It is not fixed. One person on the computer suffers if another wants to watch TV.
The TV is rated at 600 Watts and I am guessing it will need to suck power to properly perform. I'am guessing this is introducing a variable power to the modem or like you say, RFI from 10 paces away.
I think there is an AT&T form somewhere that might be useful.
I will look back here to see if you have any closing comments. Like you say, the tweaks are done. Good job and thanks for the assistance.
