| [iO] HDMI & Digital Audio Output on SA STB
I recently purchased a new TV and this is how I want it setup:
1. STB connected to TV via HDMI 2. STB connected to Receiver via Digital Coax Cable
However, It seems like you can't simultaneously use HDMI and the DD output through coax. Does anyone know if this is truly a limitation or is it possible that I am doing something wrong? -- Information Technology Solutions | Computer Help Desk | Free Online Backup |

I was planning on doing that anyways, but I thought there would be a better way but if its the limitations of the box, I pretty much have no choice. -- Information Technology Solutions | Computer Help Desk | Free Online Backup |

But if its set to pcm then it will come out both at the same time. |

The TV can decode DD, but it looks like if you set the box to "HDMI" it passes the audio through the HDMI cable and Digital Out as Stereo, but if you set it to "Dolby Digital" you get no sound through the HDMI cable at all, just the Digital Out. -- Information Technology Solutions | Computer Help Desk | Free Online Backup |
